Our Shango Body Butter contains both West and East African Shea Butter.  Shea Butter has been used for centuries for its unsurpassed ability to maintain and protect the skin.  Traditionally, Shea Butter has been such an important and valuable source for many skin and hair care products. 

Our West African Shea Butter is Certified Organic and comes from varying regions and countries such as Ghana, Mali, Burkina Fashion and Togo. Our East African Shea Butter is also Certified Organic, sourced from Uganda and is Fair Trade, produced by Shea Processors Associations and women's coops. 

Mango Butter is a great moisturizer and aids in softening skin.  It contains an abundance of Vitamin E and C and is a superb overall nourisher of skin.  It is an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, which aids in speeding up healing.  Mango butter is lightweight and also non-comedogenic, meaning it will not clog pores. 

Lastly, Meadowfoam Seed Oil is a moisturizing botanical that acts as an emollient and softens the skin.  Research shows it may prevent sun damage and also helps to balance sebum in the skin.  An added bonus is the velvety texture imparted to any product containing Meadowfoam seed oil.
